New York-based Journalist and Author Launches New Duda Website
Duda Website Showcases New Book About Holocaust Survivor’s Experience
A former foreign correspondent for NBC News and United Press International, Mel Laytner is a guy who knows how to do research. It’s no surprise when searching for a talented website design agency to build his new author website, he landed on the experienced team of web designers at Fix8 Express. Impressed with the Duda website platform and all it offered to his new author website, Mel purchased a Fix8 Express package and never looked back.
In fact, he’s such a fan of the Duda platform he is a frequent attendee of Fix8’s weekly free training sessions—open to any Fix8 client with a Duda website. “We love being able to provide the kind of consistent, open support clients who are actively involved with updating and evolving their Duda websites need,” says Fix8 Express Creative Director Josh Neimark. “It’s such a pleasure to be able to work with clients one-on-one during our open weekly trainings, answering any questions they have to help them grow their websites, be it through adding new features, blogging, or taking advantage of the Web Personalization tools that really make Duda stand out from the competition.”
Mel’s new author website in Duda showcases his current project, a book about his father’s Holocaust survival story. The home page opens with a link in the header to watch a recent book talk Mel participated in with renowned author Mark Sullivan. A scroll down showcases “What They Didn’t Burn,” with a form beneath encouraging interested visitors to get in touch directly with Mel. Additional pages on the website offer Mel’s bio, more on his current project, recent work, and a Resources page with valuable tips for those interested in researching the Holocaust.
The author’s devotion to his subject and his passion rings true on the pages of his new Duda website, which he intends to continue building out over the years thanks to the training he received from his web partners at Fix8 Express.
For those who will never be forgotten,
